QUENTIN
After another time jump, this time to 2003, For All Mankind seems somewhat lost in its fourth season. Most of the original characters are gone, except for Ed and Margo (Joel Kinnaman and Wrenn Schmidt, respectively, unconvincingly playing characters twice their real ages), and the story has transitioned away from astronauts in an active space race to new characters carrying out the day-to-day items that occur once the race is over. Plots revolving around the working conditions of the maintenance staff on Mars, a smuggling ring, and political summits aren’t what I want from this show. I’ll stick around for Season Five, but it’s on notice.
